PG Kiddy Al Fauzien: Empowering Students Through Student-Led Conferences

In march 2025, Playgroup and Kiddy Al Fauzin held an event  reporting student progress, combining Student-Led Conferences (SLCs) with Parent-Teacher Interviews (PTIs).  This model leads a connection between students, parents, and teachers.


In the SLCs, students took center stage, presenting a chosen object representing their learning journey.  This unique presentation allowed children to showcase their understanding, articulate their progress, and highlight both achievements and challenges.  Parents actively participated, engaging in conversation and celebrating their child's growth.


The PTIs provided a complementary perspective, offering teachers the opportunity to share a comprehensive report on the child's academic performance, social-emotional development, and overall well-being.  This two-pronged approach ensured a holistic view of each child's progress.


 The SLCs empower students, building confidence and communication skills.  The collaborative nature of both SLCs and PTIs fosters strong home-school partnerships, reflecting the importance of community and shared responsibility in a child's development.  

The emphasis on individual growth promotes gratitude and self-reflection, key aspects of personal development.


SLCs build student confidence and communication skills, while PTIs provide a comprehensive overview of progress. The combined approach strengthens home-school partnerships, leading to a more supportive and effective learning environment for every child.
