Setting off on a bright, sunny morning, the excitement among the students of Grade 3 as we were on our way to the Aquarium Jakarta and Safari - a day filled with adventure and discovery awaited us.
As we stepped into the Aquarium, we were instantly transported into an underwater world. The sight of corals, exotic fish, and majestic sea turtles swimming overhead in the tunnel was mesmerizing.
The trip was not just about sightseeing. It was a hands-on, interactive learning experience. We learned about various species, their habitats, and the challenges they face due to environmental changes. The students were particularly moved by the story of the endangered sea turtles and pledged to spread awareness about their conservation.
As we headed back, the bus was abuzz with students sharing their favorite moments, the creatures they found most fascinating, and how they could contribute to preserving these incredible species. This trip was a testament and as the front loading to our next theme this second term.
Reflecting on the day, we realized that it was more than just a field trip. It was an unforgettable journey that expanded our horizons, enriched our understanding of wildlife, and inspired us to become better stewards of the environment.
